Sova Origin vertical fold-down wall-mounted baby changing station in polyethylene, for daycares and child care centres

The Sova Origin vertical wall-mounted baby changing station is a fold-down changing table for narrow washrooms in childcare centres (CPEs), daycares and home daycares, used for diaper changes of infants (0 to 18 months) and toddlers (18 months to 3 years). Made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), it is 19.25 in. wide and projects only 3.9 in. from the wall when closed.

When open, the changing surface extends 32 in. from the wall; when closed, it frees up the passage in a small washroom. The built-in liner dispenser keeps disposable liners within reach while you keep one hand on the child, and the integrated hook holds a diaper bag or purse. Available in light grey, with or without the EZ Mount backer plate.

Features of the Origin vertical wall-mounted changing station

• Compact vertical format – 19.25 in. wide, for walls where a horizontal changing station will not fit
• Non-porous polyethylene – bacteria-resistant surface that is easy to clean with a disinfectant
• Heavy-duty steel-on-steel hinge – tested up to 150 lb, beyond the ASTM requirement of 50 lb
• One-handed adjustable safety strap – polyurethane-coated nylon, easy to wipe and sanitize
• EZ Mount backer plate (depending on variant) – attaches to two studs without structural blocking, and one person can install it
• Made in the USA – 5-year warranty, ADA compliant when properly installed

The vertical Origin suits narrow washrooms in child care centres and private daycares, shared washrooms in childcare settings, and home daycares that lack the floor space or wall width for a horizontal changing station. It is also built for busy public washrooms: shopping centres, schools, restaurants, arenas, airports and public buildings.

Frequently asked questions

Is the mounting hardware included?
Yes: screws, anchors, washers and caps are supplied. The EZ Mount plate is included only with the “With EZ Mount plate” variant.

With or without the EZ Mount plate: which one should I choose?
The EZ Mount plate anchors into two studs, which avoids adding blocking in the wall and speeds up installation. Without the plate, the station is fastened to the wall with the supplied hardware, following the manufacturer's instructions.

How do I clean it?
Wipe the surface and strap with a disinfectant after each change. The non-porous polyethylene does not absorb liquids.
