The Flexia adjustable-height trapezoid daycare table is made in Quebec by Alpha-Vico for toddlers (18 months to 3 years) and preschoolers (3 to 5 years). Its 1-1/4 in. maple laminate birch top, with a varnished chamfered edge, sits on a steel frame that adjusts from 17 to 25 in. in height.
Placed side by side, several trapezoid tables form an island or a semicircle, depending on the activity and the room. Two sizes are available: 48 x 24 and 60 x 30 in. You set the height to the children's size, and the same table can follow a group from one year to the next.
Trapezoid table features
- Modular trapezoid shape – combines with other tables to rearrange the room
- Height adjustable from 17 to 25 in. – one table for several age groups
- 1-1/4 in. maple laminate birch top – smooth, sturdy surface that can be cleaned and disinfected after meals and crafts
- Varnished chamfered edge – a bevelled edge with no sharp corner
- Powder-coated steel frame – stands up to heavy use in child care settings
- Made in Quebec – in Farnham by Alpha-Vico, which keeps replacement parts for its models
It suits childcare centres (CPEs), private and subsidized daycares and home daycares that often rearrange their rooms for different activities.
