Sova Span extra-wide horizontal fold-down wall-mounted baby changing station in polyethylene, for daycares and child care centres

The Sova Span wall-mounted baby changing station is an extra-wide fold-down changing table for washrooms in childcare centres (CPEs), daycares and home daycares, used for diaper changes of infants (0 to 18 months) and toddlers (18 months to 3 years). Made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), it is 37.5 in. wide and 21.18 in. deep when open; when closed, it projects only 4 in. from the wall.

Its wider changing surface leaves room for taller toddlers and for changing supplies. Lockable liner compartments keep disposable liners within reach, and two hooks hold diaper bags or purses. The EZ Mount backer plate is included. Available in light grey, black, white granite, cream and dark grey.

Features of the Span wall-mounted changing station

• Extra-wide changing surface – 37.5 in. by 21.18 in., tested up to 350 lb, well beyond the ASTM requirement of 50 lb
• Non-porous polyethylene – bacteria-resistant surface that is easy to clean with a disinfectant
• Heavy-duty steel-on-steel hinge – anchored directly to the wall for long-term strength
• Easy-to-sanitize safety strap – keeps the child in place during changes
• EZ Mount backer plate included – attaches to two studs without structural blocking, and one person can install it
• Made in the USA – 5-year warranty, meets ASTM and EN standards and ADA compliant when properly installed

The Span suits nurseries and washrooms in child care centres and private daycares, as well as home daycares that want a wider changing surface without using floor space. It is also built for busy public washrooms: shopping centres, schools, restaurants, arenas, airports and public buildings.

Frequently asked questions

Is the mounting hardware included?
Yes: screws, anchors, washers and caps are supplied, along with the EZ Mount backer plate.

What type of wall can it be installed on?
Virtually any wall. The EZ Mount plate anchors into two studs, which avoids adding blocking and speeds up installation.

How do I clean it?
Wipe the surface and strap with a disinfectant after each change. The non-porous polyethylene does not absorb liquids.
