Directions for use:

Let the baby explore the containers and shapes. You may choose to give them just one at first and let them investigate. They may want to simply handle the shapes and later choose to sort them. Once they become aware of how to pick up the shapes and how to carefully place them in the right position, you can offer them another container. Children will then be able to see which shapes correspond to each sorting entry.

This process requires insight and the ability to understand things, so is ideally applied in a progressive manner. Slowly, the child will make vital connections and will be able to group the pots and sort the shapes into the respective receptacles.
